we start with raw Vegetable-tanned hides. which will hold up for many years to a lifetime, then we dye them according to the order placed, and we pre-distressed them to give them the start of a lovely patina that only increases in beauty over the years. For each item we make, we try and incorporate the imperfections of the hide, bug bites, wire rubs, stretch marks, and hot brands that tell the story of the cow's life. Every item is handmade! zero machines go into our work, Each item is hand-cut & stitched
